Our Select package suggests 35 photos and two videos – approximately 7 minutes.
You don’t want to include too many photos or videos, otherwise, those that you submit become less special and unique. We do offer our Premium Package that includes 50 photos, two more videos and a digital download copy to share with family ($195).
We get it. Your time is valuable! That's why we've worked hard to make our programs turnkey- implementation is a breeze.
Upon approval, your designated Memories By Design Team Member will work with you to customize your Affiliate Program. Here, we will collect your logo and begin work on your Custom Marketing Toolkit.
Our team of Graphic Designers and Video Production specialists will provide you with several design options for Facebook Ads, Website Banners, tagged promotional videos and client-facing collateral. You simply select the options you'd like in each category, and our team delivers your choices - beautifully branded for you with your colors and logos.
Depending on the type of program you've selected, you will also receive a branded landing page and custom, trackable URLs.
You simply place these tools on your site. All traffic is tracked, and you receive payment based on the structure of your Affiliate Parnter Plan.

The music industry is very protective of its music, artists and community. Generally, there are four types of music licenses: Mechanical, Public Performance, Print Music and Synchronization (Sync). While each covers a particular usage, a synch license is an agreement between a music user and the owner of a copyrighted composition (song), that grants permission to mix the song with any sort of visual image (video, photos, slideshows, videogames, etc.)
For example: Whether you release a YouTube video or create a DVD of your band playing a Rolling Stones, Beach Boys or Frank Sinatra song, with you playing, even if you use only a portion of the song, you need a Synchronization License. A Sync License is required no matter how small a portion of the song you use.
There are some rare exceptions where a synchronization license is not required: You don't need a synchronization license for songs that you wrote yourself or songs that are in the public domain.
Memories By Design has an expansive Selections Library of Music (including contemporary options) available for your Life Story Video. Each is designed to accompany the family photos and video, creating a specific mood and ambiance.

If you are not sure, Memories By Design will be happy to assist you. We can conduct a search for you, and, if the music is licensed and copyrighted, we can attempt to contact music publisher on your behalf, to request permission to use of this music. Honestly, this is a longshot but we have had success. If the music is public domain, we will happily assist you in attaining the very best quality available.
Unfortunately, federal copyright laws state that a synchronization license is required in order to use copyrighted music that is owned by someone else (publisher, artist, songwriter). A synchronization license allows you to mix music with visual images such as photos, home video or graphics. For example, you may purchase music via i-tunes and play it as you wish but you cannot use that music in the production of any type of video.
However, Memories By Design has an expansive music library of selections from which you can use. We provide a wide array of genres to consider as well as instrumental and lyrical. See Music Library
Absolutely. Depending on the complexity of what you would like to change or convert, we have a minimum charge of $30. We can work with you to remotely update your PocketBook Memory Player content or you can return it to us and we will take care of it for you.
Our Tribute Video Conversion option ($30) includes adding obituary and shipping of two free DVD’s.

Yes! While we have designed the PocketBook Memory Video Player for memory care, other options have included family vacations, weddings, anniversaries, tribute videos and video biographies. While coffee table photo albums have wonderful benefits, the advantage of a PocketBook Video Player is the ability to include smartphone video clips along with the photos. The Pocketbook Video Player becomes a wonderful coffee table memento.
